Prevea Health recommends flu and COVID-19 vaccinations, appointments available

Wisconsin (WEAU) – Prevea Health is promoting flu and COVID-19 vaccinations.

According to a Prevea Health media release, Prevea Health encourages all eligible members of the community to get vaccinated against the flu and stay current on all COVID-19 vaccinations, including updated booster shots recently released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have been approved.

“Vaccination is the most important tool we have to prevent the spread of these highly contagious diseases,” said Dr. Ashok Rai, President and CEO of Prevea Health. 19 shots and booster shots are some of the most important steps you can take this fall and winter for your health, the health of your loved ones, and the health of your communities.”

Prevea Health’s media release states that appointments for flu vaccines and COVID-19 immunizations and boosters are available at select Prevea Health locations throughout Wisconsin, including the Greater Green Bay, Lakeshore, northern and western Wisconsin communities of Chippewa Valley. According to the media release, appointments can be made by calling (888) 277-3832, through the MyPrevea patient portal at myprevea.com, or the MyPrevea app.
